Life’s Garden
Our memory care is a beautiful safe, secure and inviting wing especially designed for the needs of residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia and for those who are frail and in need of extra attention.
Life’s Garden provides a smaller home like environment with a living/entertainment room, kitchen, sitting/reading room, garden courtyard and comfortable bedrooms. Residents’ routines and care are attended to throughout the day and night.
There is a high caregiver to resident ratio in Life’s Garden. The staff is specially trained in sensitivity, personal care, and meeting the needs of those who require this level of attention, understanding and compassion. Most importantly, residents are listened to, honored, supported and valued.
Emphasis is given to knowing each individual’s needs and capabilities. Residents are helped to fill their days with what they enjoy, having a full range of structured activities to choose from such as sing-a-longs (“favorites” really open up a shy resident), musical performances (our residents love the “oldies but goodies”), games, sharing stories (these are great!), arts/crafts (we have some talented folks), exercise or just relaxing with a movie or favorite show on the big screen T.V.
Come in to see Life’s Garden for yourself. The residents and staff love to have company and show it off. Be sure to let us know what we can do for you or your loved one.
